Op zaterdag 17 december werd met de hele club het lustrumjaar van Armixtos in stijl afgesloten. Deze Super Saturday werd om 12:00 al afgetrapt door Dames 5, die in de Amstelcampus een 3-2 overwinning binnensleepte. In Sportcentrum de Pijp begon de pret om 14:00 met Dames 9 (0-4), Dames 6 (3-1) en Heren 3 (1-3). Daarna was het de beurt aan Heren 2 (4-0) en Dames 2 (3-1). De dag eindigde met prachtige hoogtepunten: niet alleen versloeg Dames 1 de tegenstander in drie sets, maar ook H4 de eerste punten en ook meteen de eerste overwinning van het seizoen!
Nadat alle teams gespeeld hadden, was het tijd voor vermaak. Met maar liefst 65 deelnemers werden de hersens gekraakt tijdens de Armixtos Pubquiz onder leiding van Laura. Team 5 (Marloes, Sophie, Sarah, Lucy en Jorn) wist het meest over 2022, muziek, films en volleybal en ging er met de overwinning vandoor. Inmiddels was de dj ook gearriveerd en kon de Armixtletoe Christmas Party echt van start gaan. Onder het genot van drankjes en muziek werd er tot in de late uurtjes gedanst en gelachen. Een perfecte afsluiting voor een zeer geslaagd lustrumjaar.
Dank aan alle mensen die vanuit de lustrum- en feestcommissie hebben bijgedragen aan een lustrumjaar vol mooie activiteiten. Op naar de volgende vijftig jaar!

On Saturday December 17, Armixtos’ lustrum year ended in style. This Super Saturday was kicked off at 12:00 by Dames 5, who fought for a 3-2 win at the Amstelcampus. In Sport centre de Pijp, the fun began at 14:00 with Dames 9 (0-4), Dames 6 (3-1) and Heren 3 (1-3). After that, it was Heren 2 (4-0) en Dames 2’ (3-1) turn. The day ended with two highlights: not only did Dames 1 beat their opponent in three sets, but H4 also had their first points and first win of the season!
After all teams played, it was time for some entertainment. With no less than 65 participants, brains were put to the test during the Armixtos Pubquiz – hosted by Laura. Team 5 (Marloes, Sophie, Sarah, Lucy and Jorn) knew the most answers to questions about 2022, music, movies and volleyball and took the win. In the meantime, the DJ had arrived, which meant that the Armixtletoe Christmas Party could start. While enjoying drinks and music, the party went on until late in the night. A perfect ending to a very successful lustrum year!
