Zaterdag 2 april was het eindelijk tijd voor de enige, echte Thuisspeelzaterdag van het seizoen. Donderdagavond vielen helaas nog twee van de 9 geplande wedstrijden uit, vrijdag volgde de wedstrijd van Dames 1. Toch waren er nog zes spannende wedstrijden te spelen. De afgeladen tribune kon met de handige kaartjes van de feestcommissie per wedstrijd aangeven wie de beste speelster of speler was.

Met die uitslagen telde de feestcommissie aan ’t begin van de avond alle stemmen… De DJ draaide zich vast warm, en dankzij Armixtosfan Rauw Brouwers ontvingen de MOTM/WOTM een Groen NEIPAardje en een Oranje Stekeblond. En toen kon het dak eraf! Op de rode loper, via de paparazziwall naar de dansvloer liepen niet alleen volleyballers, ook de handballers van US waren die avond onderdeel van Hollywood ’70’s.
De feestcommissie is nu de grote berg foto’s en chanteerbaar materiaal aan het uitzoeken, wie weet staat het binnenkort al in de Story, Privé of is het terug te vinden op de verschillende Juice-kanalen. Zodra we een update hebben hoe de foto’s bekeken kunnen worden, hoor je dat!
Saturday, April 2nd, it was finally time for the one and only Home Game Saturday this season. The thrusdayevening before, three matches got postponed. Friday, the match of Dames 1 followed as well. Luckily, there were still five more matches to play… The party committee gave the packed grandstand the forms to fill in the Man or Woman of the Match.
With those results, the party committee counted all the votes at the beginning of the evening. The DJ tried to warm up a bit and thanks to Armixtos Fan Rauw Brouwers all MOTM/WOTM received a green NEIPAardje and an orange Stekeblond. And than it began… Walking on the red carpet, via the paparazzi-wall, straight towards the dance floor , were Armixtossers and handball players from US. Everybody became part of Hollywoods ’70’s.
The party committee is selecting the big pile of pictures and possible bribable material, so there might be already something in the Story, Privé or on several Juice channels… As soon as we receive an update, we’ll let you know.
Supersub Lotte (D5, today D6) and Coach Laura Dekker (D5, coaching D9) took home the Rauw Brouwers Beers for WOTM!
